This is a public beach! Please arrange for your athletes and spectators to use the buddy system. Pair up individuals to constantly monitor one another on the beach, in public places, AND ESPECIALLY IN THE WATER! Notify event stage and lifeguard staff immediately if anyone is missing! We are using a public VHF marine band channel for the refs to report scores, and can advise the Lifeguard Staff which channel that is in order for them to monitor in case of emergency. IN addition we have a PA system for announcements and the usual Hawaiian Reggae (mostly!) music for your relaxing enjoyment that we can also use for any urgency.

Areas will be marked for allowed spots for canopies, basically anywhere not in thhe line of sight between the event stage and the courses.

NO CANOPIES OR LARGE UMBRELLAS WILL BE ALLOWED IN FRONT OF THE STAGE LINE OF SIGHT TO THE COURSES. Again, this will be clearly marked
